Mother's Day '13

This was probably one of the VERY best Mother's Day for me ever!  A few days before Acacia and her friend and neighbor Caitlin made this super cool and very colorful awesome heart for us.  Then they performed a duet to us ... You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone" aka the cup song.  They even did the cup part.  They both sang sooooo well.  It was just perfect!  As they finished the song, they both assured us they were not planning on running away - they just like the song!

The day before Mother's Day I was given a beautiful lily plant that was just about ready to bloom.  After a few days it bloomed and we could smell it all over the house.  Now it has a special spot in the garden.

  Mother's Day AM and NO breakfast in bed!  EXACTLY what I've been asking for for years!  I was just able to rest and relax.  Once I did get myself out of bed I was given an AWESOME Super Mom book, complete with pictures of ME doing all kinds of super stuff!  I got to pick where we went to eat (STEAK and PASTA) with linen table clothes (no kids meals)!  And of course I received cards and wonderful hand made items that are plastering the wall over my bed!!  Even my husband got me a gift!  A gift certificate to the crazy good tea shop (Teavana)!!  It was a SUPER great day!!

Thanks to my super wonderful husband and pretty darn cute kids for making this the best Mother's Day every!!  :)
